5.1 La Jolla Innovation Center – UC San Diego Presentation

The La Jolla Innovation Center (LJIC) is planned as a new, state-of-the-art facility that will house several programs from UC San Diego Health, UC San Diego School of Medicine, and UC San Diego Extension serving students, patients and the larger community. It will include approximately 110,000 square feet of office and educational space, a ground-floor café accessible to the public and approximately 275 parking spaces. The project Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) has been circulated for public review. The Draft EIR public review period closes at 5:00 PM on March 22, 2021

6.1 8405 Paseo del Ocaso (560839, Wilson) ACTION ITEM

(Process 3) Coastal Development Permit and Site Development Permit to demolish an existing single dwelling and construct a 4,430 sq-ft two story single to tie into an existing garage located at8405 Paseo De Ocaso. The 0.12-acre site is in the Coastal Overlay Zone (non-appealable) in the SF zone(s) of the La Jolla Shores Planned District of the La Jolla Community Plan area. CD 1.

2021 Code Update: Status report of LDC code revisions submitted to City in 2020; brainstorming session on potential Code Revisions to submit in 2021 cycle.
